Whatever the need of the moment, the answer is to be found in Scripture, if we take the time to search for it. Whatever we're feeling, whatever we're suffering, whatever we're hoping, the Bible has something to say to us.
ANGER:
1. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion, slow to anger, and of great mercy. Psalms 145:8
2. ...a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger , and of great kindness, ... Nehemiah 9:17
3. For His anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night,
but joy comes in the morning... Psalms 30:5
4. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to
wrath: For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20
5. Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger rests in the bosom of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9
